This realization ignited his passion for financial education, and he started volunteering at local high schools, where he connected with students on a personal level, teaching them crucial money management skills. His relatable approach quickly made him a sought-after speaker, and Alex taught over 100 classes a year, reaching students from both low-income and affluent backgrounds who all shared a common lack of financial preparedness.

Paige, on the other hand, developed an entrepreneurial spirit at a young age. Starting her first business at age nine, Paige always had a passion for making money and helping others. For 12 years, she owned an all-star cheerleading gym, mentoring and coaching thousands of athletes. Her dedication to building strong communities and impacting people’s lives naturally aligned with Alex’s growing passion for financial literacy.

Paige realized Alex was on the path to burnout from the work he was doing in schools. With a vision to scale his impact, Paige suggested creating a YouTube channel to reach even more students. Initially reluctant, Alex eventually recognized the potential, and together with his colleague Phillip, they launched a YouTube series that shared the financial lessons Alex had been teaching in classrooms.

Over the years, Alex and Paige fine-tuned their financial education approach, listening to feedback from students and viewers. They built a curriculum specifically designed for high school students, breaking down complex financial concepts into digestible lessons that build on each other. Their goal was clear: by the end of the course, students would have a fully automated financial system that would serve them for life.

Today, Fund Financial Education continues Alex and Paige's mission by providing grants to organizations and schools to help them deliver the financial education underserved communities desperately need. Their combined expertise and passion drive their commitment to ensuring financial literacy is no longer a luxury, but a necessity available to all.

Fund Financial Education was born out of personal financial struggles and a deep desire to bridge the financial literacy gap in underserved communities.

Alex, raised by a single mother, joined the National Guard at 17 and struggled with debt through his early adulthood. Living paycheck to paycheck and burdened by student loans and credit card debt, he found himself unable to afford basic necessities, including Christmas gifts for his family. That low point became a turning point when Alex began working as a personal banker at Chase Bank, where he received his first formal financial education.

Under the mentorship of a former teacher and top financial advisor, Alex gained valuable insights that helped him turn his financial life around. Reading books and learning from his interactions with both struggling clients and affluent customers, Alex realized the common thread: most people were never taught about finances.
