Priscilla Wagner is currently the Client Relations and Business Operations Manager at Thursday's Calabasas and simultaneously serves as the President of the Board for Fund Financial Education. With a strong background in nonprofit management, grant writing, program development, and community outreach, Priscilla is passionate about advancing financial literacy and empowerment.
Before assuming her current leadership role, Priscilla spent four impactful years at Financial Beginnings, a nonprofit dedicated to teaching financial literacy to individuals of all ages. She initially joined as Program Manager and later served as Program Director, where she was responsible for training volunteers who delivered essential financial education to children, teens, and adults. Her work at Financial Beginnings helped to equip individuals with critical skills in banking, budgeting, credit, investing, and risk management. In addition, Priscilla was responsible for organizing statewide events for teachers, community organizations, and members of the public, including the Financial Literacy Conference during Financial Literacy Month.
She also played a key role in training educators across Oregon to teach financial literacy to hundreds of thousands of students, ensuring the next generation was equipped with the tools needed for financial success.
Priscilla's career has also been focused on fundraising for nonprofits, and she has provided grant funding to organizations such as Environment Oregon, the Human Rights Campaign, and OSPIRG. Her expertise spans across financial literacy, financial analysis, marketing, communications, and outreach, always with a focus on driving social change.
Priscilla graduated from the University of Oregon in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies. She later earned her Master's in Public Administration from Portland State University. Her personal journey with financial literacy began in college, when she realized how little she knew about managing money—especially topics like credit and budgeting—which sparked her passion for promoting financial education. As someone who, like many, did not have these conversations growing up, Priscilla is committed to making sure others have access to the knowledge that can lead to financial empowerment.
Throughout her career, Priscilla has always been dedicated to improving the financial well-being of others. At Financial Beginnings, she even developed a Financial Empowerment Seminar aimed at training public service workers such as case managers at homeless shelters, correctional facilities, and organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. These professionals are now better equipped to teach their clients about financial literacy and help them achieve greater financial stability.
As President of the Board at Fund Financial Education, Priscilla is proud to continue her work making a meaningful difference in people’s lives by expanding access to financial education and empowering individuals to take control of their financial futures.
